爆炸物質(zhì)（或混合物）是這樣一種固態(tài)或液態(tài)物質(zhì)（或物質(zhì)的混合物），其本身能夠通過化學(xué)反應(yīng)產(chǎn)生氣體，而產(chǎn)生氣體的溫度、壓力和速度能對周圍環(huán)境造成破壞。其中也包括發(fā)火物質(zhì)，即便它們不放出氣體。

Explosive substance (or mixture) is a solid or liquid substance (or mixture of substances) that can produce gas through chemical reactions, and the temperature, pressure, and velocity of the gas produced can cause damage to the surrounding environment. This also includes igniting substances, even if they do not release gas.
